Yae Ram Park was born in Seoul in 1996. In 2004, she moved with her family to Bangkok and studied on scholarship at Shrewsbury International School. She currently studies in France with Michel Moragues at the CRR de Paris (advanced level – concertist). She passed the entrance exam to the CNSMDP in 2012 with unanimous approval.

Yae Ram began playing the flute in 2004 and after only two years, she won first prize in nine competitions in Korea. At the age of 9, she gave her first recital in Thailand. Then she gave several other recitals and concerts in Thailand and abroad. In September 2006, Music Journal Magazine named her one of the most promising flutists of the year. In January 2007, she gave a solo concert with the Russian Symphony Orchestra. In December of the same year, she was invited by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to an international concert for Human Rights Day. In 2007, Symphony Classical Magazine named her a genius flutist. On October 1, 2008, she performed with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra at the National Theater of Korea, and in February 2009, she performed with the Chuncheon Symphony Orchestra. On September 7 and 8, 2010, she performed at a special concert organized by the Korean Embassy in Thailand.

At the same time, she also took the ABRSM (Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music) Level 8 flute examination and passed it with distinction at the age of 10. In February 2008, she received a special prize from the British Flute Society in a competition. In December 2008, she received the 1st prize of the European Music Competition in Picardy unanimously, in January 2009, the 1st prize of the Le Parnasse competition, in February, the 1st prize of the XVth national competition of the young flutist. In June 2009 and 2010, the 1st prize was unanimously awarded to her at the end of year exam (higher level) of the Conservatory of Saint Maur in France and she obtained her DEM (Diplôme d’études musicales). In May 2011, she won the 1st Prize Jeunesses International Music Competition in Bucharest. In December 2011, she won the 1st Prize at the International Competition of the Young Flutist (Excellence level).
She has given many concerts in Navarrenx, Paris and Nice in France. Her activities have all been the subject of articles in Korean, Thai, Italian and English newspapers and magazines.
